MotoGP™ Ignition Champions: SHRD Boost Reward System and Release

Seasonal greetings to everyone at MotoGP™ Ignition fam! We hope you are having a lovely holiday season and enjoy wrapping up this year, while getting ready for the next one to come.

At the beginning of January, we will be releasing the SHRD Boost system. With it, more utility will be added to your MotoGP™ Ignition NFTs, as well as the reward structure for the Champions game mode.

What is SHRD Boost?

SHRD Boost is a new system that utilises your full collection of MotoGP™ Ignition Card and Hot Shot NFTs. The SHRD Boost system allows for players to maximise their potential rewards, in addition to the strategic choices they make when assembling their team.

What is SHRD?

SHRD is a multi-title reward token that is used across the REVV Motorsport ecosystem. Along with MotoGP™ Ignition, the token is also earnable and usable in REVV Racing, Formula E High Voltage, and more upcoming titles.

In MotoGP™ Ignition, SHRD is used in the progression systems of the wider game economy, such as with Gear NFTs — key assets used in the core game mode of MotoGP™ Ignition.

Does this replace the current MotoGP™ Ignition Champions structure?

Yes, SHRD Boost overhauls the structure of Champions mode, along with the rewards.

Other Changes: Budget Increase and Manufacturer Cost

Along with the SHRD Boost we have adjusted the team budget from$15M to $16M. We have also made some changes to the cost of some of the Manufacturers.

Reward Structure

With SHRD Boost, a tier system has been implemented, to ensure that all NFT collections have variable rewards available, based on the NFTs that they’re able to play.

Leaderboard Placement & Prizes

As per the tier system above there’s a corresponding leaderboard in respect to its tier, likewise for the prizes that are awarded!

Making your Team with SHRD Boosting!

Making your team is just how you remember it with a combination of the information above, but to sum it all up!

Plan out your riders/ manufacturers for your team
Select them from the Card Selection Overlay
Apply your choice
Add your x2/x3 score Multiplier
Save your team.

To Progress in Reward Tiers

Select the new Boost button on the Rider/Manufacturer card slot
Add more of your collection to back that rider/manufacturer
Look at where you are on the tier timeline
Apply the boost
Save your team.
Await the start of the next Event!
