Greetings MotoGP™ Ignition fans! We have been firing on all cylinders to bring you a host of new updates. Let’s get into it!

New Hot Shots Sale
The Content:
- 2021 Hots Shots from MotoGP™ Grand Prix of Qatar and Grande Prémio de Portugal
- Every Hot Shot also grants an amount of SHRD
- No Packs: Cards are received on purchase, this choice is based on marketplace interest we have seen, but packs can be considered for future sales again.
- Print Numbers: Prints are randomised (updated)

- 3 Sale Slots, each Sale Slot lasts for 30 minutes
- Each Sale Slot contains different Hot Shots
- Up to 60 total ‘Draws’ per-wallet (a Draw contains 3 Hot Shots)
- Hot Shots are purchasable with REVV or Credit Card: 800 REVV or USD$15
All Hot Shots are playable in Champions on release!

MotoGP™ Ignition — The Season So Far
Earlier this year we released MotoGP™ Ignition Champions — a weekly REVV rewarding event that uses MotoGP™ Ignition Collectible Cards and Hot Shots.
It has been great to see everyone jumping in, competing, and we appreciate all of the feedback we’ve received so far (if you have something to share, be sure to join the conversation over on Discord).
We have also been running a lot of community competitions, like our bi-weekly Spotlight events. In these events, players test their MotoGP™ knowledge, and compete to win awesome prizes, such as highly sought after, once in a lifetime VIP Experiences at real MotoGP™ races!
The team has also been hard at work building both MotoGP™ Ignition Manager as well as preparing new features for MotoGP™ Ignition Champions. Both experiences and updates add more utility to your Hot Shots and Cards, and more Play-and-Earn opportunities.
Hot Shots Sale! — The latest Hot Shots Sale is imminent.
In this sale you will be able to get your hands on MotoGP™ Ignition 2021 Hot Shots from the 2021 MotoGP™ Grand Prix of Qatar and 2021 Grande Prémio de Portugal. Each Hot Shot will be playable immediately in the MotoGP™ Ignition Champions event in the same weekend. This will be the only opportunity to buy these Hot Shots directly.
The sale will be available on the MotoGP™ Ignition website and is split into three 30 minute Sale Slots that open every 8 hours. You can purchase a maximum of 60 ‘Draws’ across the sale period, each Draw includes 3 Hot Shots. Draws can be purchased using REVV on Flow or a supported Credit Card.

- REVV: 800
- Credit Card: USD $15
Each of the Sale Slot has a different selection of Hot Shots available. You can view the Hot Shot list for each Sale Slot in the MotoGP™ Ignition website sale page.
Please note that we cannot guarantee all credit card types will be accepted.
Sale Start and Sale Slot Timings
The Hot Shots sale begins on the 27th October(updated), with the first slot opening at 1:00 PM UTC. Each Sale Slot remains open for 30 minutes.
SHRD Per-Draw and Hot Shot
Each Hot Shot received from a Draw also grants an amount of SHRD. The amount of SHRD is based on the rarity of the Hot Shot itself, where the Common Hot Shot grants a higher amount of SHRD than the Legendary Hot Shot.
SHRD will be earnable from both MotoGP™ Ignition Champions and MotoGP™ Ignition Manager, with SHRD being used to create DYNO tokens. With DYNO tokens having utility across the game modes, and integral to the progression systems in MotoGP™ Ignition Manager.
More information on DYNO will be released ahead of the first public launch of MotoGP™ Ignition Manager, later this year.
Print Numbers
Print Numbers will begin to have utility in the coming Tie-Breaker update for MotoGP™ Ignition Champions. For the coming Hot Shots sale, Print Number is assigned at random. (updated) As each Sale Slot contains different Hot Shots, each Sale will contain low and high Print Numbers.
Community Hot Shot Allocation
We will also reserve a total of 1,080 Hot Shots from this sale, (360 from each of the Sale Slots). These Hot Shots will then be used in community events as rewards and giveaways.
MotoGP™ Ignition Champions Updates
Tie-Breakers
At the top of the Champions Leaderboard, we regularly see Race Point ties as players get the feel for the riders and teams. To help separate placement we are introducing a Tie-Breaker system.
The Tie-Breaker update is due to be available on 28th October, ahead of that weekend’s event. If multiple player’s finish on the same number of Race Points at the end of a Champions Event, then a series of Tie-Breakers are used to determine the final finishing order.
These checks are made in the order below, meaning that if the first Tie-Breaker has already split the players, the following Tie-Breakers won’t be considered.
- Overall Race Points
- Highest race position finish from any team members
- Lowest average print number from NFT’s on the team
- If there is still a tie, rewards will be combined and then split between tied players. Example: If two players are tied for second place, the rewards for second and third place will be combined and then divided equally between the two tied players. The next player will receive fourth place rewards.
SHRD Boost System
The Shard Token or SHRD, is a multi-experience, cross-blockchain fungible token for the REVV Motorsport ecosystem. SHRD exists to reward the act of play and engagement. You can read more details about SHRD here: The Arrival of SHRD
SHRD rewards for MotoGP™ Champions will also be introduced in the coming weeks, with the new SHRD Boost system allowing for greater SHRD yield through leveraging your NFT collection.
SHRD are rewarded based on the placement in the Leaderboard, with a higher placement granting more SHRD reward. This reward can be increased by utilising the SHRD Boost system.
How SHRD Boost Works
Each Card or Hot Shot will now have an associated Boost value determined by the rarity — Common having the lowest Boost, with Legendary having the highest Boost. This value is used to increase the player’s SHRD Boost Tier, with higher tiers requiring a higher total of Card or Hot Shot to be played, and higher rarities of Card or Hot Shot
Players can play multiple of the same Card or Hot Shot, increasing the Boost. For example, if a player chooses a Brad Binder Rider Card, they can Boost it by assigning/playing additional Brad Binder Cards or Hot Shots. The more Hot Shots or Cards played, the higher the SHRD Boost. And additionally the higher the rarity, the higher the SHRD Boost.
As the SHRD Boost level increases, so do the potential SHRDs received from the Event. Players can maximise their MotoGP™ Champions rewards by playing multiple Cards or Hot Shots.
Although the SHRD Boost system does not mean a player has a better chance of winning — as that still requires making the right choices — players with larger collections of Cards and Hot Shots, can get greater rewards. With the SHRD Boost system, a player ranked 100, can potentially take home a much higher SHRD reward than the first place player.
We will be detailing SHRD Boost more and the reward multipliers in the weeks ahead of the SHRD Boost going live.
MotoGP™ Ignition Manager: Latest Updates
We know that everyone is very eager to hear more about MotoGP™ Ignition Manager, so here is the latest news!
Development is in reaching the peak of its prototyping stage — where it is at a state of refining economy systems/ whilst also going through some fundamental, technical challenges — to ensure the races are suitable for the player for when they hop into an event. The team is expecting to release its Open Beta around the start of January next year!
But that’s not all! The team have recently brought both the Motorland Aragon, and Sachsenring circuits into the engine. Consider this the first sneak peak of many to come!
Motorland Aragon’s crowd’s starting to fill the stands! Only a couple months away until we get to listen to some burning rubber!
It may look like Sachsenring is under construction but you better believe it’s looking pretty cool right now! Get ready to support your favourites on the track in December!
All existing MotoGP™ Ignition Cards and Hot Shots have utility in MotoGP™ Ignition Manager.
